Show Notes

Act I

Hoshi is escorted to a prison cell where she joins an already captured T’Pol and Travis, while Archer is taken to another room and introduced to a pretty lady named Sarin. After giving him a smooch and using her power to measure trust, Sarin morphs into a Suliban and tells the Captain that Klaang has evidence that the Suliban are staging attacks within Klingon space making it look like other clans. Their conversation is interrupted by some trigger happy Suliban, and Sarin is struck down after releasing the Enterprise crew using her dying words to tell Archer to find Klaang. Archer takes a laser to the leg as they make their escape to the shuttlepod, and T’Pol takes command of the Enterprise. Archer flashes back to his childhood when he crashed a remote control ship into the sand while chilling with his Dad, but for some reason T’Pol is also in the memory just standing awkwardly on the beach.

Act II

Trip and T’Pol strip down to their skivvies and sensually rub goo first on themselves, and then increase the heat by rubbing it one another. The sexual tension doesn’t cool Trip’s temper as he lashes out at T’Pol for her questionable assumption of command and her people’s efforts to keep humanity from progressing. Archer wakes up from his leg injury impressed that T’Pol has continued the effort to get Klaang back instead of returning to Earth. He works through his mixed feelings on the topic while recording his starlog, when he is summoned to the bridge because they have lost the Suliban ship they were tracking. T’Pol puzzles it together and locates the Suliban’s path, and Archer arms weapons and polarizes the hull plating.

Act III

Silik tells the Shadowy Man that the Enterprise has followed them and is told that they must stop the crew from delivering whatever Klaang has back to Kronos. The Enterprise breaks through the atmosphere and discovers the Suliban Helix. After taking a few shots and retreating, they once more dive back down, nab one of the Suliban ships with their tractor cable, and then quickly peace out. Travis prepares Archer and Trip to try to fly the captured vessel, while Reed gives them gadgets like phase pistols and some kinda polarity reversing maglock tubes. Aboard the alien craft, Trip and Archer dock with the Helix and locate Klaang, while the Enterprise suffers increasing damage while the Suliban continue their search in the sensor-unfriendly atmosphere. Archer and Trip engage in a bit of a firefight with the Suliban on their way out with the Klingon, and then set off Reed’s little device that forces all the vessels comprising the Helix to drift apart in random directions. Unfortunately, Archer wasn’t able to return to the captured Suliban vessel, so Trip and the Klingon return to the Enterprise without him.

Act IV

Trip gets the shuttle back to the Enterprise, while Archer’s exploration of the Helix bring him to the Shadow Man’s little temple. T’Pol orders the Enterprise to set course for Kronos, but Trip isn’t having that happen without some heated words. A hidden Silik joins Archer in the time chamber and taunts while they play a game of cat and mouse. They engage in a strobe light battle, and just as Silik gets the upper hand and fires at Archer, the Enterprise beams him aboard and warps towards the Klingon Empire. Once on Kronos, Archer, T’Pol and Hoshi join Klaang on the surface where we learn the important information that needed to reach the planet was stored in the Klingon’s DNA. Back aboard the Enterprise, Archer informs Trip and T’Pol that they aren’t going back to Earth and that Admiral Forrest has ordered them to continue their journey. The Captain privately suggests to T’Pol that she request to stay aboard the Enterprise for a while as science officer, an offer that she agrees to.
