Shran and the Andorians finally appear! What should have been a fun family outting to the local Vulcan monastary turns sour as Archer and Co. are held hostage. This episode also starts to hint that the Vulcans of this era might not be quite the same Vulcans we’re familiar with in the later series.
This is one of those more universally loved Enterprise episodes. Not to say they peaked at episode seven, but that such a positively received episode happened in the first season says something, no?
