Confused? You may have noticed this is not the next production or release episode. We finally hit that point where the idea behind this podcast takes shape, though in an odd way.
This episode, despite being released as 01×12, is next in chronological order. Following Fortunate Son (01×10) and preceding Cold Front (01×11). An oversight by the writers? Who knows, it’s canon now.
After getting pushed into the mud a few too many times by an unidentified ship, Archer realizes incredibly ineffective weapon systems just aren’t going to cut it and orders the Enterprise to return to Jupiter Station for some much needed upgrades. Meanwhile Hoshi bakes a cake.
Everyone but Joe hates Reed during this recording. I don’t know why they’re so mean.
